He currently serves as Professor and Chairman of the Beatty Liver and Obesity Research program at Inova Health System in Falls Church, Virginia, where he established the renowned Inova Liver Center. A graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (AOA 1989), Dr. Younossi completed his fellowship training at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation (1989-1995) while simultaneously earning a Master of Public Health with multiple honors from San Diego State University in 1995.
