Dr. Thomas A. Einhorn is a distinguished leader in orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal research with an international reputation for clinical excellence and scientific innovation. He currently serves as Director of Clinical and Translational Research for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Health, where he also holds the position of Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU School of Medicine. A graduate of Cornell University Medical College, Dr. Einhorn completed his residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center and Columbia University in New York City, followed by advanced fellowship training at The Hospital for Special Surgery. With over 45 years of clinical experience, he previously served as Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston Medical Center for nearly two decades before joining NYU Langone in 2015, bringing extensive leadership and scholarly expertise to one of the nation's premier academic medical centers.
